Summer Reading at the Library
Remember the fun of library summer reading programs when you were a kid? Now libraries across the country are adding teen and adult summer reading programs. In some areas, like Chicago, the program is more like a book club; others (Seattle, Houston, and New York City to name a few) are more reminiscent of the kid programs. In these cases, the libraries offer participants the opportunity to win reading-related prizes, such as bookstore gift cards and even a Nook eReader. Check with your local library to see if it offers a program for some extra reading fun this summer.
