Well-Paid Authors
For those who have wondered just how much best-selling authors make, Forbes has again released the data on some well-known authors. For the period of May 2010 to April 2011, James Patterson tops the list of highest paid with a whooping $84 million. Previously, J.K. Rowling (who no longer makes the top 10) was the highest paid novelist. These authors along with Stephen King, Stephanie Meyer, and Nicholas Sparks, who also make the list, have found success not only with writing books, but seeing their work adapted for income-generating movies as well.
