Girl to the Core
By: Stacey Goldblatt

Everything seems to be going great for Molly O'Keefe; she has a loving family, a best friend, and the cutest boy in school as boyfriend. When her boyfriend Trevor starts pressuring her for something more, Molly is reluctant. Soon after, Molly finds Trevor kissing his ex and does not know what to do about it. She slowly gets into Girls Corp, an organization for young girls, which helps her become more confident and gives her a brighter outlook on life. As Molly is starting to find herself, people start to get in the way. Will Molly be able to finally be herself or will she go back to doing what other people want her to do?

I thought the book was okay. The story was interesting and relatable to what many teens go through in life, but I thought there could have been more to the story. The story itself felt like those typical books that tell you to stay true to yourself which isn't bad, but can get in the way to the overall likability of the book.
