Zara White is an average girl, the only problem is that she thinks a man is stalking her. After the death of her stepfather, Zara is sent to live with her grandmother in a cold town in Maine. This town isn't all that it seems, for it hides clues to her families past. With the help of her friends, Zara discovers that the stalking isn't who-or what she thinks it is, its something much more that she could ever imagine.
This book was amazing. The storyline was fast paced and filled with turns no reader would expect. My favorite character would have to be Zara. She is self sufficient and strong willed, something every girl should follow. The way Carrie Jones writes keeps you at the edge of your seat. I would recommend this book to everyone, no matter what genre you read, this book is one you cannot pass up.

This book and it's sequal captivate are amazing I think Carrie jones is a awesome author, I could see that her ideas came from a mixture of Stephen king and Stephanie meyer being fans of their books already. I hope she is making a third book as captivate left me on the edge of my seat as it was left on a cliffhanger...
