The Sorceress (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel)
By: Michael Scott

The Sorceress is the third book in The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series by Michael Scott and gets right into the story where The Magician left off. This book continues to follow the twins, Josh and Sophie Newman, and their journey further with Nicholas. Paris has burnt to the ground by Dee and Machiavelli. Nicholas is growing weaker and protecting the twins from the Dark Elders is becoming more of a problem as others have gone missing or are being held captive.

The do have the sword, Clarent, which is the twin sword to the legendary Excalibur. However just as Excalibur was a sword of great power, Clarent is as well – but the great power is evil on this end. Nicholas has searched for an elder than can help and now he has found someone to teach the twins how to use Water Magic, but the one who is to teach them is pretty crazy.

While The Sorceress is not the best in the series so far, it's still a great read. New characters make the scene with lively personalities. Famous people from the past also make an appearance in this one. The problem with this book though is that it didn’t really seem necessary for the story to take up an entire book. Barely anything important in the plot happens and it takes way longer than it should have. It almost seems that this book was just to get you warmed up for the book after it.

If more happened in this book it would have been better. But they were stuck on one problem the entire time and I'm pretty sure they still haven’t even solved it. Still it’s a good read for fans of the series and I can't wait to read the rest of them.

I've never heard of this series, but it sounds like one I have to check out. Thanks!

If your writing space is somewhere outside pacquiao vs bradley home, you should probably leave the knickknacks behind, but you can still prepare a writing bag or backpack to keep bradley vs pacquiao necessary supplies together.
