It must have taken such strength for her to confront her past and write this book.

Wow, I love memoirs like this and this reminds me just a little bit of Black Swan, a movie I adored.

This sounds like it's going to be a heart warming story.

Life as you know it is perfect, somebody comes along and shows you how wrong you are. The battle within on whether to pursue new dreams comes into play.

I've never read a book about ballet before...not a dance art I was really interested in before. This sounds good though.

I can’t believe someone beat me to this!! I am a Ballet student at BSA in MD and as I’m also an English Major, I always thought I’d be the first one to write a book about the nitty-gritty life of dancers. I applaud Sophie Flack in her achievement and I’m really looking forward to see how realistically she portrays the dance world. I believe this book to be one of a kind, because the whole ballet world, besides what you see on stage, is jealously hidden from the real world. Our privacy is so fundamental, precisely because we have so little. Recitals, promotions, auditions, it’s a neverending cycle. Yet we cope, we adapt, and we learn to eventually, EMBRACE our busy lifestyle, and feel evermore fulfilled because of it. I commend you, Sophie, for opening the eyes of people to the reality of ballet, the beauty AND the beast aspects of it, and I am honestly looking foward to reading your debut novel(: Cheers!

This seems like a totally awesome story. The life of a dancer is one to dream about on rainy days, isn't it? The excerpt sounded really well-written. I'm pretty excited for this now.

I love ballet and I'm very excited to read a novel about it from someone who's been there and experienced it, as well as someone who has studied writing and literature. I'm especially interested in her comment about the dressing room as a setting because I remember it from my days as a dancer as this in-between space; you've already left the real world so to speak, but you haven't quite arrived at the stage yet. There is so much anticipation for the performance and what is about to come, and of course the people that you will share it with.

I am so excited to read this book! I have always loved ballet, even though I only did it from age 3 to 5. I always wonder what my life would have been like if I had kept up with it. I hope that Hannah can find balance in her life and won't have to give up something that she loves.

That was such a great video to learn a little more about the background of the author. I loved being able to see photos and images of the author's experience in dance herself. Can't wait to read this one and share it with my dancer students.

I think this will be an exciting book to read. A ballet dancer's life, the emotions she goes through, the story, everything ! I can't wait to read it.

I have never had to choose between life and love and career which I also loved. That must be hard to be that committed to dance. Can't wait to read this book.

The video is awesome. It made me think about how hard ballet must be and also how deceptive. If you look at ballet dancers and how graceful and stunning they are, it's easy to forget the hardship that they must have gone through to make such a beautiful show.

This book is definitely worth anticipating~
After watching the trailer, it makes me want to know more about the live as a ballet dancer and the link to bunheads!
Really make me ponder if becoming the best is more important or a balanced life...

This book sounds so unique. It is definately not the typical novel you see now-a-days. Looks like it will be a good one! Cant wait to read about the love interest too lol

The trailer definitely makes me excited for the book. The story is truly one that is personal and close to the author, which in my opinion always makes for a good read.

This is a great author interview! I recently read VARIOUS POSITIONS by Martha Schabas and am now very interested in checking out other ballet inspired works of fiction. I've never heard the term 'bunhead' before and am intrigued to pick up this novel.

selling for an average of $3,000 to $3,300 on the secondary ticket market, a drop of about $200 in Beats By Dre two days. Ticket holders on StubHub were advertising more than ticket was on will

I love ballet, I saw some at the Opéra de Paris and I am always fascinated by the grace and discipline of dancers, and even a bit of the same competition if the game I could not miss a novel on the subject with which most is a beautiful cover. Alas, I was disappointed because the topic is dealt with too much superficiality. pc portable
