ABOUT THE BOOK
The Why Chromosome is an advice/self-help book that takes a humorous look at current dating and relationship dynamics. Using a Q&A format, it explores forty of the most pressing questions about men and the way they handle the opposite sex. From meeting, dating, and relationships to breakups and sex, The Why Chromosome gives both parties a fair chance: it is written from the female perspective (Emily White) and rebutted with an answer straight from the source -- a man. Well, in this case two men: authors Mikles Eriksen and Ryan Vaughn. In response to each therory a self-described good guy and his bad boy counterpart give women the low down on some of men's most messed up and mystifying behaviors.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Emily White is the quintessential single girl and has enough dating horror stories to fill at least ten volumes of The Encyclopedia Britannica. Though
she’s had her heart broken a few times, Emily refuses to become jaded and always chooses to see the good in men. As the eldest of four girls,
she is a professional big sister and has nursed several of her girlfriends from heartbreak back to happiness. She has a degree in political science from Loyola Marymount University, an affinity for champagne, and an adorable cat named Franz, though she is definitely not a “cat lady”.
Miles Eriksen is your typical good guy. He loves his mom, flosses daily, and has never cheated on a girlfriend or his taxes. But don’t be fooled by the
Dockers-wearing facade, underneath the nice guy exterior Miles is an adventure seeker at heart. In addition to being a former firefighter, filmmaker, avid surfer, and climbing Mt. Everest , he has also dated some seriously crazy chicks, which is truly the ultimate adrenaline rush.
Ryan Vaughn is not really a bad boy. He talks about his feelings, cries at movies, kisses babies, loves track lighting, and never waits more than two
and a half days to call a woman back. He has never broken up with a woman, made her cry, and then bragged about it to his friends—and if anyone has told you a story that describes this or any other so-called bad boy tendencies, they are complete fabrications. Ryan has instructed in math and writing at the community college and university levels and holds an undergraduate math degree from the US Air Force
Academy and a professional screenwriting certificate from UCLA.
